CPC’s: A Threat to Public Health & Reproductive Justice

There are more than 2,500 anti-abortion “crisis pregnancy centers” (CPCs) across the United States, yet most people know very little about them. In fact, many people visit them seeking medical information about abortion not realizing that they are supported and managed by anti-abortion extremist organizations.

Most CPCs are not licensed medical facilities and do not have on-site medical staff; yet, they are offering pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and in some cases, testing for select sexually transmitted infections (STIs). But can we trust these staunchly anti-abortion organizations to provide medically accurate information?
